Bulgari Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of an agreement for the development of a new luxury resort in the Maldives. The Bulgari Resort Ranfushi will open in 2025. The new resort will be spread across 20 hectares in the Maldives archipelago’s Raa Atoll, 45 minutes by seaplane from Malé airport.
Bulgari Resort Ranfushi will feature a Bulgari Villa on its own island, 33 beach villas with private pools, 20 overwater villas, and a full range of luxury hotel amenities.
The resort will also prioritize environmental sustainability, including the construction of a new island to house a nesting bird population.
The Bulgari Resort Ranfushi will offer four gastronomic experiences: the Italian Il Ristorante-Niko Romito, curated by three-Michelin-starred chef Niko Romito; the Chinese fine-dining Bao Li Xuan, twin of the two-Michelin-starred restaurant at Bulgari Hotel Shanghai; Hseki, the Japanese concept already present at Bulgari Resort Dubai; and La Spiaggia, Italian beach food.
Aside from the Bulgari Spa with an adjacent fitness center, yoga pavilion, and a private library, the Bulgari Resort Ranfushi will also feature a Bulgari Bar.
There will also be a Bulgari boutique and La Galleria, a concept store with a selection of niche items from international designers.
